This International Women’s Day highlights the benefits of having an inclusive and equitable workplace which reflects the diversity of our customers and communities.
With the rapid shifts currently occurring in the way energy is supplied, never has it been more critical for Endeavour Energy to have diversity of thought, experience and perspective to deliver long term value to customers from the most significant transformation to energy supply seen in the past century.
At Endeavour Energy, we continue to drive progress towards gender equality and equity through actively working to increase the representation of women in leadership and non-traditional roles. Our efforts have improved women’s representation in executive and senior leadership roles to 47.5% over the past three years. A focus on ensuring equal representation for entry level positions (graduates and apprentices) has resulted in at least 50% of all apprentice appointments being female or gender diverse since 2022.
As we navigate this period of profound change, hear from some of our people about what inclusion means to them and how bringing together different perspectives adds greater value to what we do to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers and communities.
